Something Fun!

This is golden!

Have you ever met or still know someone who appears to be so confident & secure? 
Actually, in reality, sometimes, they have deep insecurities. Their appearance to be very confident is a facade for someone who is terrified that someone will find out that it's all an act.

Here is a fun thing to do to see if they are really secure or fluffing.

These poor unfortunate souls reveal themselves when they put others down in an attempt to make themselves feel better.
This only makes them feel worse once the initial high is over.

Having seen this many times, I know how to handle it.
I know how to have a bit of fun with it!

Person X = The insecure one
Person Y=  The subject who has out smarted them. heh-heh

In an attempt to discredit person Y, person X will ask person Y a few questions, gathering intel! Ha Ha!
After getting enough information, person X will go to work:
X uses the information gathered from Y to fact check the info
X is looking for info to prove Y is lying or wrong
X is in pursuit to make themselves feel better even if it's temporary

When X, feeling so smug that they go to other people, then, eventually to Y to tell them they are wrong or lying. It gives X temporary satisfaction that they are much better than Y or anyone, really.

Here comes the fun part.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away I learned how to spot person X along with their brothers & sisters!

X is identified as one of the above described, in revision, deeply insecure, enjoys discrediting others to affirm their superiority.

When X is detected, as they intel gather from me. I tell them big big lies with a kernel or 2 of truth, then, pop the popcorn & wait!

X will usually go to other people with their grand discovery first, sometimes they will go straight to Y first. 
Where is the fun in that???
Going to other people first only gives a bigger tally so that X can feel even MORE superior before they go to Y, for the kill. Ha Ha!!!

The higher they are, the harder they crash when the high wears off!

Prince William, of Great Britain used a similar ploy to expose those people who were only hanging close to him for his status. To identify those who would hang around him, hoping a little royal fairy dust would rub off on them.
Wills! So cheeky!
Upon first meeting someone, he would put them to the test. In conversation, he would share some outrageous false information with that person, only that person. No one else.
If the information was spread around, he knew the person he was testing, could not be trusted.
EJECT!
This is so comical, it's genius!

Try my above method when you meet X don't ask Y!
