There must be horses in heaven
For a girl who loves horses like me
Might never fulfill my earthly dream
Or I might while there's time we shall see
When I build my dream house sometime soon
There will be room for a barn in the back
A hayloft for sure to feed my steeds
A bridle plus a saddle rack
All 5 acres fenced in with my dobies on patrol
Running free as they keep all of us from harm
A sweet little garden patch with a berry briar
A small patch of a family farm
Are there gardenias up in heaven
Patches of tall stalks of tuberose
Plumeria trees that will never freeze
With a warm ocean always so close
Knowing that I did this all myself feels good
Never again at the mercy of a cruel landlord
Never have a guy to sabotage my dreams
With an unkind criticism or even a word
I did it my way will seem to apply
As cliche as the phrase might be
There is beauty in self-fulfilling
Created by I - myself - just- me
